The Universal Declaration of Animal Rights was adopted by the International League of Animal Rights in 1977, proclaimed the following year. It was subsequently approved by the United Nations (UN) and the Organization of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in April-October, 2007.
Animal Welfare Day is observed all over the world today 4th October all over the world.
